Cupping & Guasha

Cupping and guasha are two different modalities that realign muscle fibers and move stagnation in tissues to releive pain and increase range of motion.  These techniques may be offered by Dr. Kate as an adjunct therapy to acupuncture when indicated.

Cupping uses suction created by fire with glass cups.  Guasha uses a smooth-edged tool to work the tissues with varying pressure.
